Should he enter university?

I read a news from Hong Kong,http://hk.news.yahoo.com/070823/60/2e9up.html.
Recently, a nine years old kid got 2A1B in GCE A-Level. He successfully entered a university in Hong Kong. I am wondering whether entering university is the best choice for him. Entering university is the best way to use his talent, but how can he have a happy childhood in a university? In my case, my primary and secondary school education is not a good place for studying. On other hand, there is a place I knew a lot of good friends and learning to be with people. Is there a way to allow him live like a nine-year-old kid?

My current reading list.

The top of my list is “I think therefore I laugh”- John Allen Paulos. This is a tiny book as an introduction of philosophy. Moreover, this is not boring for me.
