Continue reading A first day off今日,與人家談及某遠親的事,外婆說他待自己的妻子比其他同姓親人好。當然,是的。也許,因我在教會生活多年。聖經說:兩人成一體。妻子是我的身體另一半。但在上輩的觀念中,”夫妻如衣服”。太太是外姓人,有事是會離開的。我記起外婆常常要小心識女仔,她們會騙了我的”身家”。同姓的就是自己人,有事是大家一起去受的。所以有”兄弟如手足,夫妻如衣服”的一句話。 現代社會是不同的,我們已經沒有了是什麼同姓兄弟。社會是由小家庭組成的。夫妻都是小家庭的核心。夫妻之間就是我最親的人。婚姻不再是以前的盲婚啞嫁,是一種變相的交易。現在婚姻是一種承諾。大家是選擇的。基督徒而言,更是一生的責任。夫妻不再可以如衣服,愛穿就這件,不愛就換另一件的。我不待她好,應該待誰好?!
